From wishing stars to Greek gods, there’s no shortage of inspiration when it comes to Disney films. Through the decades, they have inspired, they have strengthened our resolves, and time and time again, they’ve reminded us that, “yes, we CAN do this!”
And if there’s any group that inspires, strengthens and reminds us of our ability to succeed – it’s runners! (Yes, we may be a bit biased!) So, without further ado – for the marathoner to the newbie – here’s a Disney gif for every runner out there.
For the runner who feels like they aren’t going to make it to the finish line
After all, we’ve all been there!
For the runner trying to convince themselves to go on that ‘below zero’ winter run
“Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
You’ll never see me cry
Here I stand
And here I’ll stay
Let the storm rage on”
For the runner gearing themselves up for their first half marathon
“I am on my way. I can go the distance! I don’t care how far. Somehow I’ll be strong. I know every mile will be worth my while.”
For the runner looking out for each and every person in the running group
Running with friends is the best, because no one gets left behind! <3
The Disney running gif for the runner who always smashes their records
With all the force of a great typhoon, too!
For the runner waiting on the London Marathon ballot results
And when you finish that one . . .
For the runner who can’t believe they’re signing up for another marathon
Oh God, what have I done??
And a Disney running gif for your friends and family when you tell them you’re doing another marathon!
For the runner who gets up at the crack of dawn
For the new runner who needs to know they’ve got what it takes
You have it in you! <3
And, last but not least, for the newbie just getting into running!
Oh, Disney, how you inspire us! And now we just need a Disney film about running! In the mean time, let’s get out for a run with friends – that’s usually pretty inspirational on its own! 😀
